I haven't been active in this blog of mine for the past two years in whcih I have been the Director General of Casa Africa in the Canary Islands. I thought that this job would not allow me to publish my thoughts on certain issues with enough independence.
A few days ago I quit this job, and I am back waiting for anew posting. In the meantime I will continue to follow events in Africa and the rest of the world, which it is my intention to share in these pages.
